Data: Statistics Canada, 2021 Census of Population, Census Profile (98-401-X2021007), at census tract level — 2,631 characteristics for every tract in the census metropolitan area (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Oshawa and the rest of the GTA). Census reference date 11 May 2021; income figures are for 2020. Shares are recomputed from counts against each section's own total. Statistics Canada Open Licence. CMA 535, 532.

Boundaries: Statistics Canada 2021 census tract cartographic boundary file (lct_000b21a_e); municipality labels from the 2021 census subdivision boundary file (lcsd000b21a_e).

Names: Census tracts are numbered, not named. Each is labelled with a nearby neighbourhood name from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) inside its own municipality, with a compass qualifier where several tracts share one. Every tract's census number is shown in its profile, so any figure can be traced back to source.

Notes: Statistics Canada randomly rounds counts to a multiple of 5, so components may not sum exactly to totals and small figures are approximate. Suppressed tracts are shown in grey. "Visible minority" is the term defined by the Employment Equity Act; Indigenous identity is reported separately.
